With Care Dermatology and Surgery CenterDr. Daniel Witheiler is a board-certified dermatologist and fellowship-trained Mohs surgeon based in Dallas, Texas. A Phi Beta Kappa graduate of the University of Texas at Austin, he earned his M.D. from UT Southwestern Medical School, where he was elected to Alpha Omega Alpha. He completed his dermatology residency at UT Southwestern and a Mohs Micrographic Surgery fellowship at Ohio State University.
Dr. Witheiler is a Diplomate of the American Board of Dermatology and a Fellow of both the American College of Mohs Surgery and the American Academy of Dermatology. He has authored numerous articles and frequently lectures on skin cancer treatment. He has been recognized as a 'Best Doctor' by D Magazine many times.
He serves as Director of Surgical Dermatology for the Baylor Dermatology Residency Program and is on staff at Methodist Medical Center of Dallas. He actively trains residents from multiple local programs.
Specializing in the treatment of skin cancer and tumors, Dr. Witheiler has performed over 30,000 Mohs procedures and also treats a wide range of general dermatologic conditions. He is known for his compassionate and patient-centered approach to care.
Outside of work, he enjoys skiing, hiking, biking, and playing pickleball. He lives in Dallas with his wife and three children.
